Tonight, November 17th,2005 we had the TIG 5 years old birthday ! I am really glad having all those TIG members here having fun and activity during the second phase of WSIS Tunis 2005!
Finally, I can reach that we reached the target of our first plan : The Road To Tunis, and this road meant definetely to Tunis!!
Then, I hope this road is willing to take us to some more and more cities after Tunis, and this way, we will play that important role to reach youth development, and to make our organization TakingITGlobal effectively "Take the IT Globally within Youth!".

To speak about the appearance of youth: Marouen, Rim, Heythem and Me (Tarek) were to PrepCom1 happened in Yasmine-Hammamet in Tunisia last weekend, as representatives of TakingITGlobal and members of the Youth Caucus which has unfortunately not officially represented, matter for which we've made efforts to reaffirm youth presence within the process of PrepCom1, while integrating most of meetings and
plenaries of various entities of the civil society to make them listen the youth voice and assert its presence in PrepCom1.
It is true that we retied again contact with various national and international entities of the civil society, and as we were still recognized as relevant entity, we discussed in this particular case the subject of the organization of one parallel session for youth (WSIS' Youth 2005) with the Tunisian governmental responsables in charge, notably Mr Minister of ICT's and Transport, and with the State Secretary of Computers and Internet. They asserted their interest for the involvement of youth in such events : the next phase of WSIS Tunis 2005 and reminded their encouragement by the possibility of logistic coverage for the event in concern by the used fund of 400.000 TND (EUR 250.000) which will interest this kind of initiatives and which concerns bodies and NGOs of Youth, Women and Handicapped persons, from poor/under-developped countries .
We really look in this direction : Cooperation and united participation of various organizations to follow a process which succeeds afterward towards the WSIS' Youth 2005.

Multiple interviews and articles were published and evoked in the Tunisian media ( Newspapers, Radio and National Television) and the main subject of which underlines the necessity and the importance youth involvement and contribution in ideas and Opinion regarding WSIS issues and the information society: the tomorrow's society .

By this update, I am launching a call to all youth of the world to mobilize around this subject, especially that the deadline for the seizure of the paralleles sessions to be organized for WSIS Tunis2005 was fixed for the date of September, 2004.

Hi everybody, it was treally nice having met some cool guys and girls at WSIS Gva 2003, from the City hostel to the Palexpo GVA, all the TIG delgations were cool and great !!!
The new Tig project Road to Tunis will try to make world youth to know tunisia more and more, and to be willing to attend the second phase Of this WSIS in our country, youth will be able to gather some information about Tunisia and we all have to fix up the main aim of that : To make it more important for youth and even for government to involve a youth part of WSIS officially, to get them Decision makers ! We Have to ACT !!! it's really time to do it guys and girls.
